Paden Cottage

Paden Cottage

Paden Cottage Front Entrance — At the Children’s Home’s Centennial Celebration, in 2015, it was announced that a new cottage was going to be built. Six girls moved into Paden Cottage in 2018. There are five cottages on the Children’s Home’s campus. Six children reside in each cottage. Two cottages are for boys and three cottages are for girls.

Paden Living Room

Living Room — An open floor plan was used to accommodate the living room, Donna Thoman Family Room, Rix Family Kitchen, and Dining Room. The beautiful tables and lamps were made by a Board of Directors' member and his wife made the hanging quilt.

Paden Dining Room

Dining Room — The dining room is used for formal meals.

Paden Kitchen

Kitchen — The kitchen was designed to accommodate meals for children and staff in Paden Cottage. 4–H baking projects are also completed in the kitchen.

Paden Bed Room

Bedroom — Bedrooms were designed to accommodate one girl. Each girl has her own attached bathroom and shower.

Paden Farm Lockers

Farm Lockers — Farm clothes are stored and washed in the Farm Locker Room.
